Overview

Callr's recognize@v2 action enables speech-to-text (STT) recognition during live calls. Callers can speak instead of pressing keys, enabling natural language IVR menus and voice-driven interactions.

How It Works

Place the recognize@v2 action in your call flow where you want to capture voice input. Configure the expected language and optional grammar constraints. The recognized text is stored in a variable for use in subsequent conditions and actions.

Use Cases

Voice-driven IVR: "Say 'sales' or 'support'" instead of DTMF menus. Name capture: let callers speak their name for CRM lookup. Address collection: capture spoken addresses for delivery. Free-form input: collect open-ended feedback or descriptions.

Languages

Supports recognition in English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, and more. Language-specific acoustic models ensure high accuracy for each supported language.
