Overview
Callr implements defense-in-depth security across every layer: encrypted SIP signaling (TLS), encrypted media streams (SRTP), HTTPS-only API access, and data encryption at rest. All infrastructure is hosted in EU data centers with strict access controls.
Voice Encryption
SIP TLS encrypts call signaling to prevent eavesdropping on call setup metadata. SRTP encrypts the actual audio stream, ensuring voice content cannot be intercepted in transit. Both are available on all SIP trunks and Callr Actions scenarios.
API Security
All API calls are served over HTTPS exclusively. Authentication uses API keys with scoped permissions. Rate limiting and anomaly detection protect against abuse. Webhook payloads can be validated using HMAC signatures.
Data Protection
GDPR-compliant data processing. All recordings, CDRs, and customer data encrypted at rest using AES-256. Data residency within the European Union. Configurable data retention policies. Right to erasure supported via API.
