Overview
Send SMS messages to any mobile number worldwide using the Callr REST API or the sms@v1 action within Callr Actions call flows. Use custom sender IDs (alphanumeric or numeric) to maintain brand consistency.
Sending Methods
REST API: send individual or batch messages programmatically. Callr Actions: trigger SMS as part of a call flow (e.g., send a confirmation SMS after a call). Both methods support scheduling, custom sender IDs, and delivery reports.
Message Types
Transactional: order confirmations, OTPs, account alerts. Notifications: appointment reminders, delivery updates. Marketing: promotional campaigns with opt-out compliance. All types support GSM and Unicode encoding for international character sets.
Delivery Reports
Every message generates a Delivery Report (DLR) with status: delivered, failed, pending, or expired. DLRs are delivered via webhook to your backend for real-time tracking.
