Overview
Callr lets you receive SMS messages on dedicated virtual numbers (long codes or short codes). Incoming messages are processed by the inbound-sms branch of your Callr Actions scenario, where you can parse content, trigger workflows, send auto-replies, or push data to your backend.
Processing
The inbound SMS payload includes sender number, message body, timestamp, and encoding type. Use javascript@v1 to parse and validate content, fetch@v2 to push data to your systems, and sms@v1 to send replies.
Use Cases
Two-way conversations: customers text to book, confirm, or cancel appointments. Keyword-based routing: parse incoming keywords to trigger specific actions. Opt-in/opt-out management for marketing compliance. Data collection via SMS surveys.
